Abstract

Introduction
The Chief Host, the Vice Chancellor, Professor M.K. Othman;
the Host, the Dean, Faculty of Arts, Professor Bishir Sallau; the
Convener, the Head, Department of English, Dr. Christopher
Nwabudike (my dear brother from another womb, pioneer colleague of
FUDMA, and my special brother in-law), thank you for bringing me
back to my root, Federal University Dutsin-Ma where I started my
academic career. I am delighted that I am coming back to the great
citadel that gave me the platform to nurture my academic dreams.
LONG LIVE FUDMA! The indefatigable Local Organizing
Chairperson, Professor Amodu Jonah (my teacher and my 3rd PhD
supervisor) and the entire team, thank you for choosing me to handle
this academic assignment. The distinguished keynote speaker, Professor
Tanimu Abubakar, one of my silent academic mentors, thank you sir
for standing by me in my ABU days. When the going became too tough,
God raised you for me and you and Professor Liman cannot be
forgotten in my academic journey. My fellow Lead paper presenter,
Professor Rabi Ibrahim Abdulsalam, thank you all for the opportunity.
